Welcome to the 'Check Your Performance Measures Data' Help Centre.

The Check Your Performance Measures Data (CYPMD) Help Centre is where you will find information regarding the key stage 2 (KS2), key stage 4 (KS4) June, KS4 Autumn and 16 to 19 Autumn checking exercises and performance measures data sharing for the 2025/26 academic year.  Please save this page to your favourites and check this page on a regular basis for updates.

From here you can: 

• view all communications for the 2025/26 academic year
• find out how you can contact the CYPMD Helpline if you need further advice
• access all checking exercise guidance documents, these will be available prior to each checking exercise
• access a link to the CYPMD portals:
  • Key Stage 2
  • Key Stage 4
  • 16 to 19

• access the Results Enquiries Portal to raise results enquiries. You will be able to do this once the Autumn checking exercises open, until early 2027

2026 KS4 Checking Exercise - Latest Information

The 2026 KS4 Autumn Checking Exercise will open on Monday 5 October 2026 and close at 5:00pm on Friday 16 October 2026.

We are making the 2026 KS4 Autumn Checking Exercise Guidance available now to help you prepare in advance of the checking exercise opening. Further guidance documents will also be made available on this help centre before 5 October 2026.

You will be able to access the checking exercise here: KS4 Checking Exercise Portal. We will notify schools and colleges when the checking exercise is open.

 16 to 19 Autumn Checking Exercise - Latest Information

The 2026 16 to 19 Autumn Checking Exercise will open on Monday 5 October 2026 and close at 5:00pm on Friday 16 October 2026.

We are making the 2026 16 to 19 Autumn Checking Exercise Guidance available now to help you prepare in advance of the checking exercise opening. Further guidance documents will also be made available on this help centre before 5 October 2026.

Key Stage 2 September – Latest Information

The 2026 KS2 September Checking Exercise is now closed, no extension to this deadline can be granted.

Decisions for pupil amendment requests submitted during the KS2 September Checking Exercise will be shared with schools in December when revised performance measures data is shared ahead of publication.

CYPMD Communications

If you have not already done so, or if additional people within your school or college would like to receive future communications you/they can sign-up to receive CYPMD communications by sending a message and selecting ‘option 1’.

Further information about the 2026 checking exercises and data shares will be sent to all school and college headteachers and principals, so your headteacher/principal contact details must be correct on ‘Get information about schools’.
