Welcome to the 'Check Your Performance Measures Data' Help Centre.

The Check Your Performance Measures Data (CYPMD) Help Centre is where you will find information regarding the key stage 2 (KS2), key stage 4 (KS4) June, KS4 Autumn and 16 to 19 Autumn checking exercises and performance measures data sharing for the 2025/26 academic year.  Please save this page to your favourites and check this page on a regular basis for updates.

From here you can: 

• view all communications for the 2025/26 academic year
• find out how you can contact the CYPMD Helpline if you need further advice
• access all checking exercise guidance documents, these will be available prior to each checking exercise
• access a link to the CYPMD portals:
  • Key Stage 2
  • Key Stage 4
  • 16 to 19

• access the Results Enquiries Portal to raise results enquiries. You will be able to do this once the Autumn checking exercises open, until early 2027

2026 KS4 June Checking Exercise - Latest Information

The 2026 KS4 June checking exercise will open on Monday 15 June 2026 and close at 5:00pm on Friday 26 June 2026.

You will access the checking exercise here: Key Stage 4 Checking Exercise Portal. We will notify schools and colleges when the checking exercise is open.

We are making the 2026 KS4 Checking Exercise Guidance available now to help you prepare in advance of the checking exercise opening. In addition to this guidance, for greater transparency on the decision-making process, we have already shared the 2026 KS4 June Pupil Removal Requests: Tips for Schools and Colleges guidance.

Both of these documents are available in the ‘Further Guidance’ section below.

We strongly recommend that you read these documents before requesting any pupil amendments during the 2026 KS4 June checking exercise.

The next scheduled checking exercise will be in September 2026.

16 to 19 Autumn

The next scheduled checking exercise will be in October 2026.

Key Stage 4 and 16 to 19 Results Enquiries

To further support schools and colleges when raising results enquiries in 2026 we have carried out an analysis of the results enquiries submitted in 2025. Our analysis includes information on some of the common issues that we found. The analysis is available in the Further Guidance section below, under the ‘General’ heading.

CYPMD Communications

If you have not already done so, or if additional people within your school or college would like to receive future communications you/they can sign-up to receive CYPMD communications by sending a message and selecting ‘option 1’.

Further information about the 2026 checking exercises and data shares will be sent to all school and college headteachers and principals, so your headteacher/principal contact details must be correct on ‘Get information about schools’.
