Welcome to the 'Check Your Performance Measures Data' Help Centre.

The Check Your Performance Measures Data (CYPMD) Help Centre is where you will find information regarding the key stage 2 (KS2), key stage 4 (KS4) June, KS4 Autumn and 16 to 19 Autumn checking exercises and performance measures data sharing for the 2025/26 academic year.  Please save this page to your favourites and check this page on a regular basis for updates.

From here you can: 

• view all communications for the 2025/26 academic year
• find out how you can contact the CYPMD Helpline if you need further advice
• access all checking exercise guidance documents, these will be available prior to each checking exercise
• access a link to the CYPMD portals:

• access the Results Enquiries Portal to raise results enquiries. You will be able to do this once the Autumn checking exercises open, until early 2027

KS4 Autumn Checking Exercise - Latest Information

The 2026 KS4 Autumn Checking Exercise is now open and will close at 5:00pm on Friday 16 October 2026. You can access the checking exercise, and provisional performance measures data here: KS4 Checking Exercise Portal.

The provisional performance measures data is being provided to you in advance, in confidence and on the condition that it is not released to other persons outside of your school or college before 9:30am on Thursday 15 October 2026.

KS4 Autumn Late Results

This year, there will not be a separate ‘first late results’ CSV file. Improvements to our processes have enabled us to include additional data from Awarding Organisations (AOs) in school and college’s main results CSV files, which are available now on the checking exercise portal. These files contain information based on the data received from AOs up to and including 16 September 2026.

There will be a late results file in November, and we will inform schools and colleges by email when the November late results file is available on the KS4 checking exercise portal. This file will contain information based on data received from AOs between 17 September 2026 and 30 October 2026. 

All late results/re-marks contained in the November late results CSV file will be included in revised data published in early 2027.

 16 to 19 Autumn Checking Exercise - Latest Information

The 2026 16 to 19 Autumn Checking Exercise is now open and will close at 5:00pm on Friday 16 October 2026. You can access the checking exercise here: 16 to 19 Checking Exercise Portal.

16 to 19 Autumn Late Results

There will be two CSV files to check your school or college’s late results on the 16 to 19 checking exercise portal. The first late results file is available now. This file contains information based on the data received from Awarding Organisations (AOs) between 3 September 2026 and 16 September 2026.

We will inform schools and colleges by email when the November late results file is available on the 16 to 19 checking exercise portal. This file will contain information based on data received from AOs between 17 September 2026 and 30 October 2026.

All late results/re-marks contained in both late results CSV files will be included in revised data published in early 2027.

KS4 Autumn and 16 to 19 Autumn Results Enquiries

The Results Enquiries Portal is separate from the main KS4 and 16 to 19 checking exercise portals and will remain open until early 2027. Any results enquiries raised will not change provisional performance measures data displayed in the KS4 and 16 to 19 checking exercise portals or in KS4 published data.

Do not raise any incorrect grade results enquiries until you have received and checked your November late results file, as we continue to receive re-marks from AOs daily.

Like the KS4 and 16 to 19 checking exercise portals, the results enquiries portal will be accessed by a DfE Sign-in account. Details on how to create an account can be found here: DfE Sign-in (education.gov.uk).

Key Stage 2 September – Latest Information

The 2026 KS2 September Checking Exercise is now closed, no extension to this deadline can be granted.

Decisions for pupil amendment requests submitted during the KS2 September Checking Exercise will be shared with schools in December when revised performance measures data is shared ahead of publication.

CYPMD Communications

If you have not already done so, or if additional people within your school or college would like to receive future communications you/they can sign-up to receive CYPMD communications by sending a message and selecting ‘option 1’.

Further information about the 2026 checking exercises and data shares will be sent to all school and college headteachers and principals, so your headteacher/principal contact details must be correct on ‘Get information about schools’.
