KS4 provisional publication delay

This publication was delayed due to quality issues in data submitted by an awarding organisation which were identified in the "Check Your Performance Measures Data" exercise.

These statistics will be released on 5 December 2024 9:30am.

Welcome to the 'Check your performance measures data' help centre.

The Check Your Performance Measures Data (CYPMD) Help Centre is where you will find the latest information regarding the key stage 2 (KS2), key stage 4 (KS4) June, KS4 Autumn and 16 to 18 Autumn checking exercises and performance measures data sharing for the 2023/24 academic year. Please check this page on a regular basis for updates.

KS4 and 16 to 18 Autumn Checking Exercises Latest Information

The 2024 KS4 and 16 to 18 Autumn Checking Exercises are now closed, no extension can be granted.

Outcomes of all amendment requests will be made available to you in 2025.

KS4 provisional publication

The corrected KS4 provisional data is now available to view. This data includes missing BTECs, late results received up until the 30 October 2024 the overall grade for NCFE L1, 2 VCert qualifications and corrections to minor processing anomalies. You can access the CYPMD portal here.

KS4 Late results

The second late results file that was previously removed from the CYPMD portal has been reloaded. This late results file only contains new results and grade changes received from AOs from 30 October to 1 November, other late results are included in the corrected KS4 provisional data.

16 to 18 Late results

Late results are available for you to view on the CYPMD portal. The second late results CSV file includes all late results received from awarding organisations up to the 30 October 2024.

The 16 to 18 second late results CSV file includes the missing BTEC results. The inclusion of previously missing qualifications may result in the inclusion of new students or the triggering of previously untriggered students in the data. There is currently no facility for schools or colleges to remove newly triggered students on the CYPMD portal.

There will be an opportunity for schools and colleges to remove these students from their final performance data due to be published spring 2025. We will write to schools and colleges when we have further information to share.

If after checking your second late results and corrected provisional data files, you still have a query regarding your data, please use:

  • The contact us form if you have previously informed us about this issue using the ticket ID from the original enquiry or
  • if this is a new results enquiry, please complete the Results Enquiry Form.

Missing/Incorrect results

Some schools and colleges raised a results enquiry during the KS4 and 16 to 18 checking exercises to inform us that results were missing, or grades were incorrect in the CSV files and first late results file. These results may have been missing because of the technical issues that some schools experienced resulting in partial data being available in the CSV files downloaded at the start of the checking exercise.

We encourage you to please download these CSV files again and also check the second late results file, to see if the results are included. If you still have a query regarding your data, please contact us quoting the ticket ID from the original enquiry or if this is a new results enquiry, please complete the Results Enquiry Form.

16 to 18 Value Added measures

You can now view your school or college value added measures on the CYPMD portal. You will be able to view a new value added CSV file and a new summary data CSV file which includes your value added data.

Prior attainment data used to calculate 16-18 value added

Unfortunately, double award science GCSEs were omitted from the calculation of prior attainment when producing 16 to 18 value added data. This means the prior attainment from which value added scores are based may be incorrect for students that completed one of the following double award science GCSEs:

    6018758X - AQA Level 1/Level 2 GCSE (9-1) in Combined Science: Trilogy
    60187608 - AQA Level 1/Level 2 GCSE (9-1) in Combined Science: Synergy
    60186902 - OCR Level 1/Level 2 GCSE (9-1) in Combined Science B (Twenty First Century Science)
    60186872 - OCR Level 1/Level 2 GCSE (9-1) in Combined Science A (Gateway Science)
    60187657 - WJEC Eduqas Level 1/Level 2 GCSE (9-1) in Combined Science
    60186124 - Pearson Edexcel Level 1/Level 2 GCSE (9-1) in Combined Science.

This error will be resolved when revised 16 to 18 value added data is produced. Revised 16 to 18 value added data will be shared with schools and colleges ahead of the publication in early 2025. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Key Stage 2 September Checking Exercise Latest Information

The 2024 KS2 September Checking Exercise is now closed, no extension to this deadline can be granted.

Outcomes of all amendment requests will be made available to you with revised data in December. We will write to schools with further information.
